Hello, I am Elizabeth Schumpert, the assistant principal at Saluda Middle School. I grew up in an army family and traveled throughout my entire school years. I am now proud to call Saluda home. I have worked in Saluda County Schools for 21 years in a variety of roles from math teacher, resource teacher, instructional coach, and now assistant principal. With no official ties to Saluda, I have stayed here because I love the students, my colleagues, and the community.
I earned my BA degree from Winthrop University and my Masters Degree from Columbia College. However, I am most proud of my Ed.S. degree from Clemson University.
I am married to Mark and we have two boys. Carl is currently working for the Kappa Alpha Order in Lexington, Virginia and Cameron is a freshman at the University of South Carolina. As a family, we enjoy spending time on Lake Murray and tailgating with family and friends during Clemson football season.
